Proudly and happily we present that the project Food for Education is working out very well. Simon, our local contact person, and a volunteer in Dete told us that the children and teachers really are getting their daily nutritious meal. Permobil’s support is appreciated very much by all people in Dete.

The donation to the Sir Roy Welensky Primary School in Dete (Zimbabwe) makes it possible to prepare good meals for the children at teachers at a daily basis. The priest of the school orders the mealie (corn flour) in Harare and Simon pays after the flour is delivered. They do this semester by semester to make sure the money arrives at the right places and persons and also because the price of mealie is changing each time.

At this moment Permobil is investigating if the Permobil African Aid Project can be extended, possibly with third parties. Sustainability and neutrality still remain key starting points in future projects.
